Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Christoph Kramer says they must ignore the talk of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Gladbach meet City in the Champions League.

Kramer told Spox: "Pep Guardiola is known to praise the next opponent or its players to the sky. I think we would be well advised not to listen too much. "Guardiola has certainly respect for us and knows that we are a good team, but has also highlighted other teams in advance of such a game."

On the fat contracts of City's players, Kramer added: "Whichever way he wants to take, each player must know himself. I prefer players of Gladbach than City."
