Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac says the club are "very confident" of signing Leroy Sane from Manchester City.

The German giants have made signing Sane their priority this summer following the departure of legendary wingers Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.

"Our club management is very committed behind it and I'm very confident," the 47-year-old coach told ZDF in Germany. "I assume that we can get it.

"Leroy is a great footballer who has proved that in England and with the national team."
