Vincent Kompany is set to make his debut as Anderlecht player-manager in late June.

It's been announced Anderlecht's first friendly for preseason will be against RWDM on June 22. It remains to be seen whether Kompany will appear in the Brussels derby as a player or merely as a trainer.

At the beginning of July, RSCA will go into camp in Venlo in the Netherlands.

Former Manchester City captain Kompany's first media conference of the preseason is due in mid-June.

Meanwhile, Anderlecht video analyst Moussa El Habchi has announced he's leaving: “I want to thank everyone I have been able to work with this season. My story ends at Anderlecht. Vincent Kompany brings his own people from England."
