Kompany confident Guardiola can create Man City dynasty

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany believes the best is still to come from the team under manager Pep Guardiola.

Kompany is very pleased that City managed to win the Premier League title. But he knows that more is expected from the team, especially in Europe. And he has no doubts that Guardiola is the man who can deliver sustained success for City in the coming years.

"It is one of the first thing I noticed [best is still to come] within the first month of him arriving at the club," said Kompany to the Daily Star.

"If I had met Pep when I was 20-years-old I would have been the perfect player for him and would have been able to improve so much.

"I think we share one thing, he has been able to transfer to the team is that hunger and desire to never be satisfied.

"I'm probably the first one to think about next season and I would like to stay humble.

"This is not a dynasty. It is one title and we are all delighted, but there is a lot more to do to unlock our full potential."
