Aleksandar Kolarov has urged Manchester City to be ready for the upcoming derby against rivals Manchester United.
City have made a wonderful start to the season under new manager Pep Guardiola and many believe that the Citizens are favourites to claim the Premier League title under the brilliant Spanish tactician.
However, defender Kolarov is not getting carried away by the start that City have made so far and has insisted that his side should now fully focus their attention towards doing well in the derby against United after the international break at Old Trafford on September 10.
Kolarov, who has been praised by Guardiola recently, said: "It's always good when a manager says nice things about you, but I am professional and do what the manager asks of me.
"I am taking the moment and the team is doing well – we have won all the games.
"But it's just the start of the season and we now have an international break. We have to be focused every day on what we are doing, and be ready for the derby against Manchester United.
"It's a different kind of football and at the moment we are happy with him, but it's just the start of the season and there are a lot of games to play."
