Southampton boss Ronald Koeman will back his kids against Everton.

Saints are without a host of stars including suspended duo Victor Wanyama and Morgan Schneiderlin, plus the injured Jack Cork, Jay Rodriguez, Steven Davis and Dusan Tadic.

Rookie midfielders Harrison Reed and Lloyd Isgrove are expected to start while teenagers Ryan Seager, Dominic Gape, Jake Flannigan and Sam McQueen are in line for places on the bench.

Koeman said: "We do not have other solutions and one of the philosophies of the club is to give young players a chance.

"Harrison Reed will start and in the 18 players we will need five or six from the under-21 squad."
