Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp heaped praise on youngster Kevin Stewart following the 2-1 win over Bournemouth on Sunday.
The 22-year-old midfielder has featured in three league games for the Reds this season and all have resulted in wins for the club.
Stewart started last week's 4-1 win over Stoke City and was once again part of the starting eleven against the Cherries in what has been a positive run in the senior team for Klopp.
Klopp said: "The exciting thing is giving the young boys the opportunity to be part of their first Premier League game, second Premier League game.
"I think Kevin Stewart made three [starts] - nine points. Nice record!
"That's really nice but it's not always exciting, we try to do our job that's all."
