Klopp: Liverpool players know media going after Firmino

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is delighted seeing Roberto Firmino back on the scoresheet.

Firmino struck in victory over Leicester City on Sunday.

Klopp said today: "Scoring was always important for Bobby but he is a complete football. Football is like an orchestra and if you have different people for instruments, some of them are louder but all are important for the rhythm. Bobby can play without [goals] as well.

"We always celebrate goals but this one was really emotional. The players read the newspapers and they saw some criticism [of Firmino]."

Meanwhile, Klopp insists he's happy with the form of Takumi Minamino.

Klopp insists the Japan attacker has struggled for action only due to the strength of Liverpool's attack.

He explained, Minamino has trained well, really good. It's just a strong team and offensively - thank god! - we haven't had the same type of problems. No dip in form for him. Just a challenge. He is working hard."
