Klopp: I don't know if Liverpool have any top 4 chance

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits he is unsure if his side can finish in the top four.

The Reds must reach fourth spot in the Premier League if they are to play in next season's Champions League.

However, a 0-0 midweek draw against Chelsea further dented those hopes, which are fading with each passing game.

"I don't know if we have any chance for the top four," Klopp said, per the Liverpool Echo.

"We must pretty much win all the games and the other teams above us must lose a lot of games. It's not in our hands.

"But it's not important. If we don't have a chance for fourth, then we want to be fifth. If we are not fifth, then we want to be sixth. For that we have to win football games. At the moment, I don't even know where we are in the table – eighth, seventh, ninth, it's not interesting."

He added: "We have another 10 games to play and the next one is Arsenal. The other nine I'm not interested in.

"One point is not a massive step. But if we win a game, all of a sudden, three points, wow, things can look different. We have no lack of ambition. We want to be as successful as possible."
