Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is expected to seek an attacking midfield signing this summer.
The Liverpool Echo says Klopp has plans to be busy in the coming months.
Todd Cantwell, John McGinn, Nathan Ake and Abdoulaye Doucoure have all been linked with a move to Anfield with their current clubs battling for Premier League survival.
Cantwell has starred for Norwich this season, netting six goals from midfield, though the Canaries are in desperate trouble.
McGinn has impressed with Aston Villa and earned praise from Liverpool fans for his performance during Villa's 2-1 loss to the Reds.
Ake has consistently impressed for Bournemouth though has spent a large part of this season injured with Eddie Howe's men struggling.
And Doucoure would fit Klopp's midfield dream with the Watford star expected to leave Vicarage Road should the Hornets drop into the Championship.
