Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp hasn't ruled out the possibility of Steven Gerrard becoming the club's next coach.
The Reds are entwined with Klopp for the moment, as the German extended his contract until 2026.
However, that has not stopped speculation that links Gerrard with the job when Klopp does eventually call it quits.
Klopp said to reporters when asked about the issue ahead of a meeting with Gerrard's Aston Villa: "My possible successor?
"Yes, of course, it's possible. I have no idea, it's not my decision to make.
"So I think it's possible, that's it."
