Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that midfielder Naby Keita sustained an injury against Leicester City.
Despite the Reds putting in an impressive performance and getting a 3-0 win, they were disappointed to lose another player to injury.
Keita came off after 53 minutes and will be further assessed by the club's doctors. But Klopp believes it is a hamstring problem.
"He felt his hamstring and was not able to play on, otherwise he would have stayed on the pitch," Klopp explained during his post-match press conference.
Klopp added: "It's a tricky situation and when Naby goes off with a muscle injury you know the problems will not get smaller.
"The boys know when they are allowed to train with us they have the quality to do so, we don't give tickets for training, you have to qualify with talent and aptitude. It is a tough school, there a lot of steps to go.
"We have to make sure we recover but the Naby injury didn't help at all."
