Klopp confirms double Liverpool injury blow for Spurs clash

Liverpool will be without James Milner and Naby Keita for Sunday's clash with Tottenham.

The Reds are 13 points clear of second-place Leicester , and face a Spurs side who have failed to win in their last three games in all competitions.

Although Jurgen Klopp has more or less all of his key first-team players available, he has confirmed that Milner and Keita are both suffering muscle injuries and will not play any part in Saturday's game.

He said: "James and Naby are not available. Both are muscle injuries, different and for different people, so we see how quick they will be.

"We really don't have to put a timeframe on it because we don't know it exactly. We will see, we are open and whenever they want to join us again, they can- or when the medical department gives the green light. For sure, not for this weekend, not for next week, but then we will see."

Speaking about the Spurs boss Klopp said: "A world-class manager with a specific mind-set. He wants to win. I respect that a lot. Each situation his team is in he tries to use. That is how managers work.

"The good news is, we don't play. We send out two teams and we have to make sure it works out. I don't think anyone wants to play us right now. Spurs are never easy but they are now so let's see."
