Jurgen Klopp has refused to discuss the future of midfielder Joe Allen.

Allen has failed to impress since his £15million move from Swansea City to Liverpool three seasons ago and recently, there has been speculation linking the Welsh international with a move back to the Liberty Stadium.

Liverpool boss Klopp was queried regarding the future of Allen following the 3-1 loss against the Swans on Sunday but the 48-year-old was unwilling to discuss the matter.

He said: "We will talk about Joe Allen's future 100% but not in a press conference at Swansea.

"I spoke to him yesterday and everything is fine. He's in good shape and a very important player for us."
