Jurgen Klopp is driving Liverpool's move for Lille star Nicolas Pepe, it has been revealed.
While the Reds' transfer committee are lukewarm on pursuing a deal for the Ivory Coast international, Le 10 Sport says Klopp is pushing to land Pepe this summer.
Lille want €80m to sell and Pepe is attracting interest from across Europe.
It's claimed Klopp would be happy to see Mohamed Salah sold and replaced by Pepe amid persistent Spanish media claims of tension between the pair.
Liverpool have already made an opening offer for Pepe, with Lille now waiting for counter proposals from the likes of Bayern Munich.
