Klopp admits Fabinho injury 'big blow' for Liverpool: But let's hope...

Jurgen Klopp has admitted Liverpool suffered a 'big blow' when Fabinho limped off during Tuesday's win over Aston Villa.

The Brazilian midfielder has suffered a suspected hamstring injury which could see him miss Liverpool's final four games of the season.

It would be a huge loss for Liverpool given Fabinho's importance to their midfield, and Klopp hopes the injury isn't as bad as expected.

"He felt something, which is a big blow for us," Klopp said.

"Hopefully it is not that bad, but we don't know."

On the result, which keeps Liverpool level on points with league leaders Manchester City, Klopp continued: "It was a massive result and a massive performance. After the games we have played and not a good start, we needed time to adapt, but made a very good response to going 1-0 down.

"We cannot do more than winning. I am pretty sure that a lot of people again thought this could be a struggle for us and how the boys sorted that is absolutely outstanding. Next we have the cup final on Saturday, and we will be ready."
