Red Bull Football sporting director Dietmar Beiersdorfer believes fellow countryman Jürgen Klinsmann is a 'great adviser' for MLS club Toronto FC.

The former Hamburg SV director is currently in charge of four clubs - Red Bull Salzburg, Red Bull Leipzig, Sao Paulo and of course MLS' New York Red Bulls - and says that Klinsmann's knowledge of the game is great for a club like Toronto.

TFC have employed Klinsmann to oversee the search for a new head coach and general manager and Beiersdorfer is of firm belief that the German legend can do a great job for the Canadian club.

"The owner of the Toronto FC are very ambitious," he said in an interview with t-online.de. "They also include the local top clubs, the ice hockey team Maple Leafs and the Raptors basketball team.

"As far as the business has, the management of Toronto, in my view no need for advice, but the contents and football do not have the experience and know-how. In Jürgen they have found a very good adviser.
