Klaassen grabs Ajax Cup winner after being struck by Feyenoord missile

The derby between Feyenoord and Ajax in the Netherlands had to be stopped.

The game was taking place on Wednesday night, but was halted after Davy Klaassen was hit by an object thrown from the stands.

Klaassen, a former Everton player, was injured during the incident that halted the game for around 30 minutes.

Eventually, the game did continue, with Ajax winning the cup semi final 2-1.

It was Klaassen's goal that was the game winner, giving him the last laugh over the home fans.

Feyenoord assistant manager John de Wolf even addressed their fans directly at one stage of the game, saying: "Fans at that side use your brain, Goddamnit!.

“Make sure nothing is being thrown on the pitch again."
