Kilmarnock chairman Bowie: We don't want to lose Fulham target Clarke

Kilmarnock chairman Billy Bowie says they'll fight to keep hold of manager Steve Clarke.

Clarke is being linked with Fulham and the Scotland job after the dismissal of Alex McLeish this week.

“We have had no contact whatsoever and it appears to be all speculation," Bowie told the Daily Express. “I wasn't surprised when I saw his name linked with the Scotland job because he has done well at Kilmarnock.

“I speak to Steve all the time. I spoke to him on Monday and I know he is very happy with where he is at the moment.

“We are doing everything we can to take the club forward and Steve remains a massive part of that.

“We, as a board, will continue to do everything in our power to keep Steve at the club."
