Former Tottenham fullback Kieran Trippier is delighted with his move to Atletico Madrid.

The England international signed for Atletico yesterday and jumped straight into training.

"It's an incredible feeling, I've always wanted to play abroad and there's a good place to play in Madrid, Atlético has a fantastic team and an incredible coach, I really want to start and get to know my teammates.

"It has done very well in LaLiga in recent years and has some amazing players and a coach," said Trippier.

"I do not want to waste time and want to get to work with the coach and learn from him, as well as helping the team to be successful in the future.

"Atleti has some extraordinary players and you can see how close the coach is to them.

"I give everything for the team and that is what I will do for Atlético. I like to win and I will give 110% in each match."
