Speaking to NUFC TV, Trippier laid bare the kind of stuff he would be keen to tell prospective new arrivals.
“It's always important when a team's not going through a good moment and new owners come in, there's a real excitement, new manager, new players," he said. “I think that's always exciting for the fans and they deserve it, they've been fighting relegation for a couple of years now and we've managed to stay up this season.
“You can see the transition, you can feel the excitement around the place and the fans are crazy. I know it's easy to say it but playing in front of my home fans, I've never really experienced it like the Newcastle fans. They're unbelievable."
Trippier's first game in the famous black and white shirt was one that will live long in his memory, even though it ended in rather embarrassing FA Cup defeat.
He added: “Walking out [at St James' Park], you look at big clubs and when they have a third-round game against a team like Cambridge, you wouldn't see 55,000 there.
“That's the appreciation the fans have for the team and they deserve huge credit because you don't really see that. That says everything about the supporters here."
