The agent of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic admits he could easily have left this summer.

Mateja Kezman, however, revealed Milinkovic-Savic wants to lead Lazio into the Champions League this season.

He told Radiosei: "Many have been looking for Sergej this summer, we have also presented to Lazio a couple of very interesting offers, but in the end we accepted the club's decision not to sell him without problems.

"(Claudio) Lotito and (Igli) Tare explained that they wanted to aim for the Champions and that Milinkovic is a fundamental player to reach this goal. And this is also his goal.

"He could have gained a lot more elsewhere, in France he was offered €8 million. He stayed because he wants to give the Champions League to Lazio."
