Keylor Navas is still waiting for a recall to the Real Madrid first team.
The Costa Rican goalkeeper had an Achilles operation on June 9 but his name has yet to appear on Zinedine Zidane's match-lists this season, so he has turned to religion to help find guidance during his time away from the pitch.
"Gálatas 1:10," Navas posted on Twitter on Saturday.
The verse, which pertains to the Epistle to the Galatians, the ninth book of the New Testament, reads as follows:
"Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ."
