Beram Kayal believes that Brighton fans must be patient with Yves Bissouma before they see the best of him.

The summer midfield signing has not shown his best qualities since arriving from Lille for a sizeable fee.

The 22-year-old has been involved in all games this season, without excelling in any contest.

Fellow midfielder Kayal told The Argus: "He doesn't speak too much English but he's come to help us.

"It's hard. He needs the time, every player needs time. He is still young but in a lot of things you can see the potential.

"He needs to learn the game more and more and the league. It will take him time. Everyone can see the talent he has. Especially when you are coming from league to league you need time to adapt."
