Kevin Betsy is firming as favourite for the Arsenal U23 job.
The Gunners controversially axed club legend Steve Bould from the role in May.
The Sun says it has now emerged Betsy, 43, is in negotiations over succeeding Bould at the Emirates.
The ex-Fulham and Barnsley winger is highly-rated within the FA system, having managed the Three Lions Under-16s and Under-17s sides in recent years.
Former England defender Bould, 58, who won two England caps, had been at Arsenal since 1988.
