Arsenal hero Martin Keown says defeat at BATE Borisov was the worst performance he's seen from manager Unai Emery's team.
The Gunners lost the first-leg 1-0 in their Europa League round 32 tie.
Despite picking an experienced side, Unai Emery's team conceded to Stanislav Dragun on the stroke of half-time and managed just two shots on target all game before Alexandre Lacazette was sent off late on.
The Gunners will now have to overhaul their opponents in the return leg at the Emirates on February 21.
Keown said, "You have to give BATE credit it is a remarkable result for them sat on the edge of their box.
"Arsenal just didn't have the penetration, there was sloppiness within their play, you can blame the pitch which of course is a poor excuse but you have to be better than this as an Arsenal team.
"So many poor passes. That is concentration that is being in the right place mentally. They have got it all to do in the return leg.
"I fully expect them to win the second leg but that was a very disappointing performance."
