Arsenal have been told to secure highly-rated Dutch forward Cody Gakpo in January.

As they took on PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League on Thursday, legendary former Gunner Martin Keown spoke about PSV's attacker Gakpo.

The Dutchman was linked to Manchester United, Arsenal, Leeds United, and other clubs over the summer, but no move materialized.

"He has just made it into the international team, he is a real talent," Keown told BT Sport.

"It is interesting, he is really like Martinelli for Arsenal on that left hand side. He cuts in with real quality. He has got everything in his game, pace, power and precision.

"He has got wheels and he comes into that (Thierry) Henry like position, he opens his body. He has been really prolific.

"They (PSV) are really strong in those forward positions and no one has really been able to handle him this season."
