Arsenal great Martin Keown believes that the duo of N'Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater have been the mainstay of Leicester City's central midfield in the club's amazing run of form this season.

The Foxes continue to defy everyone's expectations and sit top of the Premier League table after 16 rounds of games in the ongoing season.

Keown writes in his column for Daily Mail: "N'Golo Kante has been an excellent find for Leicester.

"He has an iron lung in midfield — he runs around all game and covers so much ground, which is key for helping the team transition from defence to attack.

"Danny Drinkwater works brilliantly in tandem with Kante, and Andy King did the same when he came on against Chelsea.

"They're all in tune with each other and have formed really good partnerships."
