Kentucky soccer club Thoroughbreds SC has entered into a partnership with English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers.
Thoroughbreds and Bolton will collaborate with an exchange program that will see players from Kentucky head to Bolton to train with the team and use their facilities.
Bolton's coaching staff will also visit Kentucky three times a year to run clinics and camps and Thoroughbreds president Rock Thompson is excited about the development.
"The coaching will be valuable to our players," Thompson said.
"Players have a chance to interact and become fans of an English Premier League team and that gives our coaches and organization something to be excited about."
