Everton winger Matthew Kennedy impressed in their U21 defeat to Leicester City yesterday.

Kennedy impressed coming off the bench in his first appearance since returning from a six-month loan spell with Hibernian.

"Matty was a bright spark for us when he came on," U21 coach David Unsworth told evertonfc.com. "He had an end product to his game with a cross or a shot and he hit the bar with a free-kick as well.

"I was delighted with Matty, but I was delighted with everybody out there."
