Chelsea loanee Kenedy has reiterated his desire to try and make the first-team at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian is currently enjoying his second consecutive loan spell with Newcastle.
But he remains adamant of making an impression in west London.
"As for the future, I have a contract at Chelsea, and it would be nice to get another opportunity there," Kenedy told FourFourTwo.
"But, for now, I prefer to enjoy the moment. I'm happy at Newcastle and can only promise to give my best here. Then we'll see what happens.
"It's an honour to play for Newcastle United, one of the traditional clubs in England. I'm so grateful for the way they've looked after me, and I'll do everything I possibly can to pay them back with goals and good performances this season."
