Kelly says West Brom players will enjoy Irvine coaching

New West Bromwich Albion assistant manager Rob Kelly is confident the players will enjoy the methods of new manager Alan Irvine.

Former Leicester City boss Kelly has joined Irvine's backroom team.

"I know the history of West Bromwich Albion - it's a well organised, forward thinking club," he told the Express & Star.

"Alan is a terrific coach and players will know their roles. He likes to improve players and make them better. If that happens, the group improves.

"He's a football man. He shows great attention to detail and is good to work with.

"He's a football person and the work he does on the training ground has a purpose and relevance to it."
