Keeper Ospina will stay and fight for Arsenal berth

David Ospina plans to stay at fight for his place at Arsenal next season, reports the London Evening Standard.

The 28-year-old has spent the last two seasons providing back-up for Petr Cech and had attracted interest from Turkish club Fenerbahce.

Though Cech was Arsene Wenger's undisputed first-choice in the Premier League the Arsenal manager did give Ospina chances in the cup competitions.

The Colombian international said: "I have a contract here, I'm happy and I'm going to fight to the end, I want to continue and win a job.

"That's what I'm working for, I've been working for three years and now I'm waiting for the opportunity."
