Watford keeper Heurelho Gomes is confident that despite a tricky festive run against Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester City his seventh placed team are capable of maintaining their form.
Former Tottenham keeper Gomes said: "Of course it is a tough period coming up but we are going to go into them with big confidence and play with our heart like we are doing until now, and this is the most important thing.
"For the players, it's a huge confidence boost and, of course, we're going to have a tough period during Christmas. We need to focus on this and recover as well as we can, and now we can start to think about the Liverpool game [next Sunday].
"The target is to finish as high as we can in the table as it is not finished yet."
