Kashima Antlers high-five Singapore Armed Forces

Kashima Antlers have swept past Singapore Armed Forces (SAFFC), winning 5-0 in Kashima overnight.

The home side had to wait until the 29th minute to celebrate their 1,500th goal in club history and it was Takuya Nozawa who delivered with a diving header.

Ten minutes later, scores were 2-0 when Shinzo Koroki netted from close range and five minutes after the re-start, Mitsuo Ogasawara added a third for the rampant Antlers.

Yuya Osako made it 4-0 in the 54th minute with a tap-in after a fine move up field and the demolition was completed 20 minutes later when Koroki grabbed his second with a superb finish from a tight angle.
