Manchester City defender Karim Rekik was thrilled to make his Premier League debut last week.

Rekik was named ahead of Joleon Lescott for victory over Reading.

"It was fun, I loved every second of it and I am very happy that my debut in the Premier League has been made. This is just the beginning.

"I must continue to develop and hopefully in the future be a very important player for City," said the youngster.
