Karim Benzema: I want to retire with Real Madrid

Karim Benzema admits he wants to retire with Real Madrid after signing a new deal to 2021.

In the official presentation of Benzema's new contract, the former French international intimated that it was his ability to link up play with others that makes him a modern striker.

"For me, a modern striker is not only a goalscorer, he also provides assists for the team," he explained.

As the striker shook hands with President Florentino Perez, the Frenchman made clear that he wants to stay with the club for the rest of his career.

"I want to retire at Real Madrid, I am very happy to be able to continue here," he said.

"I'm at the best club in the world and I want to continue to win the biggest titles possible."
