N'Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are set to turn out for Chelsea tonight in their preseason friendly against Boreham Wood.
The midfield pair have been training at Cobham this week as the rest of the squad traveled to the US for a preseason tour.
Kante and Loftus-Cheek had been training with the senior squad until their departure.
Football.London says Loftus-Cheek and Kante are set to play 45 minutes of the match as they aim to improve their fitness ahead of the new season, while Dujon Sterling, who was also involved in first-team training before being left out of the squad for USA tour is expected to play 60 minutes.
New Chelsea U21 coach Mark Robinson will be in charge. James Simmonds is Robinson's No2, having spent the second-half of last season as Tore Andre Flo's No2 with Sogndal
The line-up will be comprised of development squad players but with the addition of some who were involved in manager Thomas Tuchel's opening week of pre-season training.
