The agent of Chelsea star N'Golo Kante has suffered death threats.
There was a disagreement regarding Kante's transfer to the Blues from Chelsea a few years ago.
It got to the stage where an armed thug threatened to kill the star's agent.
Mediapart has revealed details about the saga through their investigative reporting.
The site reported that Kante's agent Abdelkarim Douis was threatened by two brothers, Rachid and Houari Saadna.
Douis got a £4 million cut of the fee that took Kante to Chelsea from Leicester.
Rachid Saadna was previously an adviser of Kante's, and it appears he demanded a part of the fee as well.
Rachid's brother Houari was reportedly caught on tape saying: "My brother [Rachid] got done over, he was robbed, wronged... I give you a choice. You work with a lawyer and you stop working with the other one [Karim Douis].
"Listen, I'm not joking, either you settle the issue, or Karim Douis: I'll take him down, full stop."
For his part, Kante has denied any involvement with these individuals.
