Kane injured in sour European night for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane was injured in tonight's Europa League defeat to Gent.

The Spurs striker got through the full 90 minutes but picked up a knee issue as the North Londoners went down 1-0 in Belgium.

After the game Mauricio Pochettino indicated that while Kane is ok, he will likely to miss the weekend's FA Cup fifth-round clash with Fulham.

"Yes, it should be fine," he said of the injury to Kane.

"I think we need to assess some players. We need to assess Harry Kane, he got a knock on his knee.

"We need to refresh the team. In the end it is Tottenham that will play Fulham on Sunday, it's not about the name of the player."
