England captain Harry Kane is very excited about the progress being made by West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.

Kane will lead out the Three Lions at Euro 2020 this summer, while Rice is likely to be in the starting lineup as well.

The 22-year-old is also the subject of transfer interest from big clubs in England, including Manchester United and Chelsea.

Kane is impressed with how Rice has evolve his game this season.

“I feel with Dec, he's definitely progressed over the past year or so," Kane told The Overlap.

“You can see his stature and the way he goes about his business.

“He's getting more confident. He's been with us [England] for a while now and just around the place and on the pitch, he's vocal, he pulls players here and there.

“That's a really good part of his game. He can easily be a centre back the way he reads the game and sweeps up. He's a fantastic player."
