Kabak: Whatever happens I am proud of Liverpool experience

Ozan Kabak admits he wants to stay with Liverpool.

The Turkey defender is on-loan at Anfield from Schalke.

"Jurgen (Klopp, manager) has not said anything yet," said Kabak. "We don't speak about this topic so far. We will see. This is a huge club, I am very proud to wear this jersey so far. Every moment, every single minute, I am proud. I try to give my best so far. I did my job.

"We will see what is going to happen next season, but whatever it is I have really enjoyed it and appreciate what everyone has done for me. When I first came here to Liverpool we spoke and he is a very good man. I think (he would like to keep working with me).

"He just texted me after the transfer because it was late in the night on deadline day and in the morning I flew to Liverpool. He has been so good to me. So has Virgil (van Dijk). He is a fantastic guy. I'm very happy and I am very glad to have met him. He has always been my idol."
