Celtic legend Henrik Larsson was close to joining Martin O'Neill at Leicester City, according to former Foxes defender Pontus Kaamark.
Kaamark added that another Swede and former Manchester United midfielder Jesper Blomqvist also almost joined the Foxes.
"[Blomqvist was] quite close [to joining Leicester], and even Henrik Larsson was close," Kaamark said on the Foxes Fancast podcast.
"[Blomqvist] was quite close. I don't think he adapted to Man United, you didn't see the best of him there.
"But Henrik Larsson was also very close before he moved to Celtic. The gaffer asked me: 'Don't you know another player in Sweden who could be interesting?' and I was like, 'There is one player down in Feyenoord, a dreadlocked guy, Henrik Larsson.'
"The next month he signed for Celtic and the rest is history, So Henrik Larsson was quite close to playing for Leicester."
