K. Rajagobal has been appointed head coach of the Malaysian national team.
The former U23 coach will take over from B. Sathianathan who was fired in February and has a lot of hard work ahead as the team's recent performances have been less than satisfactory.
"I know and all Malaysians know that I have been given a difficult task, but I will perform my best and will adopt a realistic attitude," he told Bernama news.
Rajagobal has been given a two-year contract.
