Juventus boss Sarri vetoes sale of Man Utd, Real Madrid target De Ligt

Juventus are not in the mood to sell recent signing Matthijs de Ligt.

The young defender has not been an instant success at the Turin club in Italy.

There is serious interest from Manchester United, who wanted him last summer as well.

However, Tuttosport suggests that De Ligt will be at Juventus for at least another year.

Manager Maurizio Sarri has committed to keeping De Ligt and improving him.

"I am the first to be convinced that he will become the best defender in the world," Sarri told Sky Sport Italia back in January.

"He had five difficult months playing every three days and having to settle in a new country, a new league with a new language."
