Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved says coach Max Allegri's job was never in doubt.
Nedved was speaking before Juve's victory over Champions League opponents Maccabi Haifa.
“I don't know why it is difficult for us in the Champions League. We are doing everything, the club, coach, staff and players, doing everything to get us back on track, to play Juve-style games that can get us through to the next round and recover in Serie A. That is our objective," Nedved told Sky Italia.
“The coach has never been even slightly in doubt, I want to make that clear. There was more confidence after the win, but we have also had very few training sessions, very few, so we will discover the form of the team as we go forward.
“I am happy that the players returned from international duty with the right attitude, so we'll see if that is enough."
