Juventus twice made attempts to sign Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero last summer, it has been revealed.

The Argentina international joined Barca in a Bosman deal from Manchester City, though is yet to make his debut due to injury.

Sport says Juve twice made attempts for Aguero AFTER he had signed for Barca.

Juve came forward after seeing Cristiano Ronaldo depart for Manchester United in the final week of the summer market.

And they then returned to try again on deadline day - but on both occasions were offered no encouragement by Aguero's minders.
