Juventus technical chief Gianluca Pessotto rated Arsenal as favourites for the Europa League.

Arsenal were knocked out by Sporting Lisbon, which Juve will meet in the quarterfinals.

Pessoto said: "It will be a good game against a strong opponent, they proved it against Arsenal, who were one of the candidates to win the trophy.

"Sporting is also coming from a bad group stage of the Champions League, so they will want to do well in this competition, like us.

"It's a difficult draw. We are up against a young and strong team, even if they are behind Benfica in the league. If we are good enough to go through, we face Manchester United or Sevilla. We are Juventus, we have a duty to fight until at the end. The others will also be worried, because we are competitive as a whole."
