Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has been named Serie A's Player of the Year.
The award is given by Lega Serie A, using statistics from Opta Sports and Netco Sports, put together by Ernst & Young.
These evaluations take into account Serie A, Coppa Italia and Italian Supercup performances.
Ronaldo takes MVP (Most Valuable Player) for contributing 22 goals and 11 assists in 33 appearances.
Inter Milan captain Handanovic will receive the award for Best Goalkeeper, Lazio's Sergej Milinkovic-Savic Best Midfielder and Napoli man Kalidou Koulibaly Best Defender. Fabio Quagliarella of Sampdoria takes Best Striker.
