Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo: Retire in Barcelona? They don't like me there!

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo says he uses his critics as motivation.

The Portugal captain has just won the Scudetto with Juve in his first season in Italy.

Ronaldo told El Pais: "I see football as a mission: go on the field, win, make myself better. Those moments when I go to the field thinking 'I'm going to dribble!' ... I'm honest: those moments I do not have anymore.

"There is an additional pressure. People are always judging: 'He's finished now, he's 33, 34 or 35 years old, he should leave'.

"And you want to surprise people: here the bug continues."

Asked about retiring as a Barcelona player, the former Real Madrid star also joked: "Barcelona is not for me, no. I went there once or twice and I felt they do not like Cristiano very much. But it's normal because of the rivalry. Nothing happened."
